Led by industry professional Ryan Reilly, with extensive experience as an actor, director, and casting director, and joined by Max DoVale, accompanist and music director, this course provides practical tools, expert coaching, and the confidence you need to shine in any audition room.

Meet the Team

Ryan Reilly, Lead Instructor
Ryan Reilly is a professional actor and teaching artist based in New Orleans. A member of Actors' Equity since 2005 and holder of a BFA in Musical Theatre, his stage credits include the Broadway national tour of White Christmas and roles at regional theaters across the country, including The Music Man, Hairspray, The Light in the Piazza, The Boys in the Band, Southern Gothic, It's a Wonderful Life, Footloose, The Glass Menagerie, and Guys and Dolls, among others. As a SAG-AFTRA member, Ryan has appeared in network TV shows and films, as well as national commercials for major brands.
With over 15 years of experience as a teaching artist, Ryan fosters inclusive, creative environments where students can develop their craft, confidence, and sense of community. In addition to his career as an actor and teaching artist, Ryan has worked as a casting director, agent assistant, director, producer, and reader, all of which inform his dynamic and engaging teaching style.

Max DoVale, Accompanist
Max DoVale is a New Orleans-based music director, composer, pianist, performer, and educator. He has worked on productions at major theatre companies in the New Orleans area, including Murder for Two, Jesus Christ Superstar, School of Rock, The View UpStairs, Grease, Sweet Potato Queens, Urinetown, and A Christmas Carol.
Outside of the theatre, Max works at Loyola University New Orleans as a piano accompanist, teaches piano at the Chase Conservatory for Musical Arts, and serves as the music director at St Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Metairie.

Is this class open to all levels?
Yes! If you are interested in auditioning for Musical Theatre productions this class is for you. period.

We have you covered. Only requirement is 18+
I can't attend every session. Is that okay?
For sure! If you need to miss a class or two we can usually find a workaround. Most in class assignments can be converted to a self-tape option. If you need to leave early or come late, I can likely arrange the order to make sure you still get to be on your feet that week.
Additionally, all students have access to a class Dropbox where you’ll find lesson reviews, handouts, videos, and assignments.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! I want class to be accessible for everyone. If you need to arrange a payment plan shoot me an email to discuss.
